H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), on May 2, 2025, received a delegation from TE Zhong Shebei Jianche Yanjiu Yuan (Cambodia) CO., LTD, led by Mr. AI SHENGFU, to discuss advancing industrial safety in Cambodia.

       H.E Hem Vanndy highly affirmed the importance of the Special Inspection Institute in ensuring the safe operation of Cambodia's special equipment. H.E Hem Vanndy hopes that the Special Inspection Institute will give full play to its own advantages, actively cultivate professional talents for Cambodia, and create more employment opportunities. He made it clear that the Ministry of Industry will fully support the Special Inspection Institute in carrying out various tasks, and require relevant departments to actively cooperate in the procedures and document approval. In addition, H.E Hem Vanndy also emphasized that he hoped that the Special Inspection Institute and the MISTI would strengthen daily communication and cooperation, conduct in-depth exchanges on safety hazards found during inspection and testing, and jointly build a strong safety line for special equipment.

       Mr. AI SHENGFU introduces China’s latest technology and expertise in safety inspection of machinery and equipment to serve Cambodia’s industrial sector.  “The company aims to collaborate with MISTI across all aspects of industrial safety, including providing technical training for inspection personnel, to ensure the safety of factory machinery and equipment.” At the same time, the company solemnly promised that it would train 300 professional and technical personnel and 10,000 to 30,000 special equipment operators for Cambodia in the next 3 to 6 years, and fully safeguard the steady development of Cambodia's industrial economy.

       Mr. He Jingwei, technical consultant of the company, He said that although he has retired, he is still willing to give full play to his professional advantages, contribute to Cambodia's special inspection cause, actively participate in the construction of relevant laws and regulations and standards for special equipment in Cambodia.

       This meeting marks a solid step forward in the cooperation between China and Cambodia in the field of special equipment inspection and testing. Improving industrial safety is a priority for Cambodia as its manufacturing sector continues to expand. In the future, the two sides will work hand in hand to jointly promote the development of Cambodia's special equipment safety cause and inject new impetus into Cambodia's industrial and economic prosperity.
